Jeff Campbell yhlclwtr@mercuryspeed.com Clearwater BC August 12, 2005 | I'm an AME and Comm heli pilot, saw a Vans years ago in Boundry Bay (?) with some of the nicest metal work. Plus the look of these really does something for me. Is there a place where I could get a poster size photo of a -3 or -4 taildragger? Something to look at for the shop wall. Are there any in Kamloops? I don't get out much but would be nice to look at one. Thanks, good site! |

Robert Heller robert.heller@rheller.net Port Moody BC Canada June 20, 2005 | I am seriously considering building and RV7a, having now purchased the preview plans set. However I still have never flown in one so perhaps that will come first ;-) I am also looking, at the moment, for anyone that might be going to Oshkosh this year. I have driven there twice (with companions) but it looks like I'd be stuck on my own this year, which will make it improbable. If there is anyone in your group that might be interested in going, I'd be interested in talking to them. Regards Bob Heller |

The POH is prefect for my RV6AQB, I plan on editing and using it. I just completed my wings, ie to flying status and moving back into the construction of the fuselage. My RV will be power by a Lycoming O-360A1A with a HARTZLL C/S prop. I am making every effort to keep this plane light, just X-Country instruments & min engine gauges. So far my construction is going smoothly even though I am able to work only 10-20 hours per week. I am building at my home in Arlington,WA/USA in a large heated barn/hangar. |

Thanks......Happy Flying |

Started building a 6 in Sept 2000, finished the HS and VS, should finish the rudder in the next couple of days.
My wife still does'nt think empenage is a real word... Nice site, I always enjoy reading other peoples project info, it is motivational. Anyone thinking of building an RV should "just do it". The kits are top notch with much prefabrication. Keep up the good work with the site and if anyone needs any pilot supplies look up Calgary Pilot Supply at www.pilotshop.ca ,I own the company. (sorry I could not resist a good plug...) |
